Bio:
Born on the planet of Alpheridies, Xenophon was born into a small, middle-class family. Throughout his child years, Xenophon got along well with just about anyone. When he started schooling, he made friends with anyone who would have him. He wasn’t particular at all in fact on who he made friends with. His friends ranged from Upper-class spoiled children to Lower-class children from poor families, who lived in the slums. The oddest of all the friendships he made was with two other young Miraluka boys, Damayu and Embrel. Damayu was from a noble Upper-class family who represented the Miraluka in the senate. Embrel, on the other hand, came from a low down poor family who barely had a place to call home in the slums. The three young boys got along well, and eventually became near inseparable. They did everything together, little things like helping each other with chores, and others like sticking up for each other at school.
The boys made an excellent combination. Each seemed to be the compliment to the other. Damayu liked to solve problems without resorting to violence. Embrel though, was very fond of violence, and expressed this at every chance he got. Xenophon became the sort of mediator in the group, and unintentionally started being turned to as the leader. The boys went through many things together, one of the larger things was helping Embrel through when his father was diagnosed, and later died of cancer. This only helped to strengthen the young boys’ bond to each other. When they reached secondary school, nothing changed. They continued to back each other up, Damayu being the negotiator, Embrel being the muscle, and Xenophon being the deciding factor in it all.
Around a month or so into their first year of secondary schooling, the young men were approached by a man in flowing brown robes. He introduced himself as a Jedi, and that he needed to speak with them about something extremely important, both to them and their future. The three boys had heard of the Jedi before. They also heard that they came to Alpheridies often looking for new padawan hopefuls. Taking this into mind, all three of the boys eagerly accepted when the Jedi offered to take them all to Coruscant, and begin training them as Jedi. They soon learned that the Jedi’s name was Talon Rann. He was a JedI Weapon Master.
The Jedi took them to Coruscant as he promised he would, and the boys began to undertake the training to become Jedi Knights. Luckily, their master saw how closely the three boys were tied together, and decided not to separate them. He concluded that he would train them together, and they would help each other to learn and understand the ways of the Force. This training method turned out to be incredible on the part of the master. Each boy was the compliment of the other, just as in their childhood. Damayu had shown extremely strong potency in Force powers. With his help, both Xenophon and Embrel were able to hone their skills as well, though never reaching the potency of Damayu himself. Emrel displayed a near unmatched skill with the blade, and was even praised by Talon. Both Damayu and Xenophon were not nearly skilled as he, Damayu especially. In their spare time, Embrel would teach the two better methods of combat, and showed them how they could improve. Over time, Embrel payed back Damayu and Xenophon for the help they had given to their “triangle training”. It was hard for Xenophon to find where he fit in the triangle. He was not as good as Damayu in the Force, nor was he a match for Embrel in the blade. He had on the other hand, grown quite good at both, and started combining them. This combination resulted in extreme potency, and he defeated Damayu and Embrel both in the sparring ring very frequently.
Finally Damayu and Embrel both requested that Xenophon educate them on just how exactly he was able to perfect the art of Force and Blade. Xenophon had found his place in the training triangle. So, Xenophon happily did as he was asked, and taught Embrel and Damayu how to combine both their strong and weaker abilities into one to create a superior technique. After they had all contributed what they could to the Triangle, the three boys were some of the best hopefuls in the entire Temple. Their master was so proud of them he always told the other Jedi how well they were doing, seeing as everyone had advised him that taking on 3 apprentices would be overwhelming. In fact, it was quite the contrary, he had only needed to instruct the new techniques. The three had practiced and mastered each themselves.
Finally the day came for their trials. On this day, Talon called them all to the courtyard, presumably to explain what the tasks would be, because the boys expected they would not be allowed to help each other during their trials. When the three arrived in the courtyard however, Master Rann stated that there had been a change of plans, and they would all be accompanying him on a mission, and it would be their trial instead. The boys were happy to hear this, knowing they would be together, and able to help one another. Talon stated that they would be going to Tatooine space in order to apprehend a notorious crime boss.
They departed Coruscant in Talon’s ship, and made course for their destination. It didn’t take long for them to arrive, perhaps a week. When they entered the area, all seemed clear. There were no ships at all at the location that they were supposed to meet the crime boss for “negotiations”. Suddenly, off the port side of the ship a piece of debris made contact with them. The ship swayed slightly with the impact, but it was nothing tremendous. Bringing the ship about, they saw that next to them were the remains of a destroyed ship. As they observed the crash, a piece of hull flew past the main viewport, it read: “Tatooine Security Force”. Immediately they knew something was not right, and began to power up the ship to leave, but it was too late. The scanner consol began howling uncontrollably as 8 blips moved toward their ship on the scanners. Talon had no time to respond, and the missiles collided with the ship. When they made contact, Xenophon was thrown across the ship, and into the Dura steel plating. His head slammed into the hull, and he was knocked unconscious.
Xenophon was awakened by the beeping of the ship’s autopilot system, signaling they were too close to the ground. He looked around only to find their ship had crashed landed on Tatooine. The ship seemed to be half buried in the ground, and it was smashed like an accordion. His head was pounding with a headache, he reached up to feel the wound and felt the wet warmth of his own blood. He brought his hand away from the cut, squinting. He tried to stand up but couldn’t, he was too dizzy. When he finally reoriented himself, he wished he hadn’t. Talon was missing. He wasn’t in the pilot’s chair anymore, and there was a huge hole in the left side of the hull. Immediately he stood up and began searching for Damayu and Embrel.
He found Damayu first, lodged in the center console. He was driven headfirst when the ship had hit the planet. Immediately the pain started to come. Xenophon started to shake his head, trying to convince himself what he was seeing wasn’t real. He fell to his knees, and horrifyingly pried his childhood friend from the console, and laid him on the deck. He dreadfully began to look around for Embrel. His fate was no better. Embrel had been sitting in the passenger’s chair, and a piece of shrapnel from the hull had pierced straight through his chest, nailing him to the chair. Xenophon couldn’t control himself any longer. He started to sob, and started softly tapping his head on his dead friend’s shoulder, saying to himself: [blue]”This isn’t real, this can’t be happening”[/blue].
He stayed in the ship for the whole day, hoping to wake from the dream, but it didn’t happen. Eventually a farmer found him and called for help. Soon medical teams had arrived and were carting away the remains of his friends. Xenophon informed them they were Jedi, and were to be sent to Coruscant for a proper burial. The farmers. did not argue, and did as they were told. Xenophon has now returned to the Jedi Temple, heartbroken, and feeling very alone in the galaxy. He seeks a new purpose, and to help protect the galaxy.
