The IC (In Character) and OOC (Out Of Character) Rules are as follows.
1. All elements of the Roleplay must abide by the Star Wars Timeline. As long as you stay to the timeline anything you can think of, you can bring in (but it must be done in the Roleplay realistically, so one day your character can’t just think up a colossal ship capable of taking everything else, right on the spot. You have to Roleplay it out, but other then that create anything you can imagine).
2. All new Force characters must be trained by a character already trained in the Force on the forum. As well it must be done on the forum. PMs do not count, or the Cbox. (No self-training. This also counts in Lightsaber training.)
3. All new characters are under protection from death for the first 4 days after creation. If an character chooses to engage in battle before their 4 days are up, this rule is void.
4. All current military factions rules must be obeyed. Even if you don’t agree with them, they are in place to try and create a fair system and increase the fairness of the roleplay. If you do have a problem, either complain where you are supposed to, or PM me.
5.If you respond to another players RP post you must accept EXACTLY what you have written (unless you change it for the other player to see before they are done posting and they agree with it), unless both parties involved agree to change it, otherwise there is no going back on what you post so be patient and make sure you are careful with your posts. It logs when changes occur, changing facts and trying to cover it up can result in a Ban.
6. All Roleplays relating to the forum must be done on this forum. This includes training, battles, and the creation of weapons & armies.
7. In order to battle or train (to be the trainer/master of another character), that character must have a profile up in the accepted section.
8. In order to attack any personal property (stores, homes, etc.), the owner must be present. If an employee or assistant droid is present on the property (and creates a post stating such), then this character acts as "owner", in the event of a PC on NPC the same rule applies, a character must act as the defending Faction for the duration of the battle.
9. In battle, if an attack is ignored, the attack is effective. A person ignores an attack by responding to other actions in that post, but neglecting that attack. If the other does not reply back within the next two-three hours, then the attack is effective. - this excludes if you post that you have to go before / immediately after the attack.
(Though if you have a valid reason you cannot respond, i.e. Internet crashing or, for those under 18, parents kicking off, grounded etc, you can respond when you can. As people don’t want to die because they got grounded from the comp and couldn’t respond.)
((10. If your character dies, the character may come back in a "resurrection" in 2 weeks. Retraining is not necessary and the same rank is retained. (Dark lord & Jedi Grand Master ranks must be replaced the moment they die Jedi Masters & Sith Lords should be replaced only if the new DL/GM, decides to replace them while they're dead, it is the Dead GM/DL's choice whether or not the new GM/DL is 'filling in' or not)))
11. NPCs may directly attack PCs. For example, if you want to have two Sith assassins for your Sithlord’s bodyguards, then you can. When the Jedi come to get you, you can have them attack them, or whatever. However, when it comes to a PC vs. NPC battle, its should always be assumed that the PC wins, even with force chars vs. non force characters. Cases where this is void are ones such as one PC vs. the invading army of 10,000. The PC may be able to take out a lot of them, but they will not win. The main rule of thumb here is; PC vs. NPC= PC Wins, most always.
12. As armies are a big part of the SW galaxy and this site, interacting with them will be very important. Any army, fleet or faction must be respected in the world, system they are in. So essentially, if someone is bombarding a planet that your character is on, your character gets a chance to respond to the bombardment, i.e. leaving in some way or staying and dying, because it is not said where the bombardment starts so you character would have a chance to get away. Though in certain cases there just might not be anyway out. If your character is on Dantooine in the Jedi Temple and a Sith fleet hyperspaces in and starts bombarding the Jedi Temple immediately then your character was in the wrong place at the wrong time, there is no realistic chance your character could escape death, no matter how you Roleplay it. (Though in those cases you will have a chance to get away still, since this is Star Wars and they must have sensors of some kind, so the invading fleet must abide by the rules of engagement in the Rules Section)
13. Planets may only be destroyed with the strict permission of the admins and still only in extreme cases.
14. NPCs can use the force. Mechanical device (droids, etc.) can not use the Force. The Force requires living cells with midi-chlorians, which machines don't have. You may have "Grevious" style characters, but they may not use the Force.
15. All Faction Reports must be submitted before friday for that week, other wise the following system is enacted; Warning 1; Warning 2; Credit Point Fine - 1000 Credit Points(1st Fine) to Unlimited.
1. Do not spam.
2. No advertising other then in the advertising thread in General Discussion.
3. Keep ALL religious topics in the Discussion board.
4. Do not go out of your way to insult someone personally.
5. No racism, sexism, and such.
6. Do not ask anyone for their password.
7. Only one account per user unless given permission by and Admin. If it's the case of siblings then this rule may be void. But ask for a personal conversation between you and an administrator before making more than one account.
8. Do not impersonate anyone on the Cbox. We can tell.
9. In 99.99% cases of bannings the ban will not be lifted before its deadline.
All rules apply to the Cbox as well, Yes i can ban you from the Cbox.
