Doro, decked in his favorite Mandalorian Armor, Black, stood inside his home on Mandalore. Doro had his helmet on the table, next to the joint of Nerf resting on the table. Doro ejected his vibroblade and stripped of a strip of meat, and chewed thoughtfully. He ran a ungloved hand across his unshaven chin, feeling the one day old stubble below his fingers. He stood, savoring the sweet taste of the Nerf Strip, feeling the grease drip between his fingers slowly.
Doro finished chewing the meat, and wiped his hands on a cloth, he replaced his gloves. The Door creaked open and a Strill, Mirde poked her head in, sniffing hopefully, Doro turned and bent down, placing a hand on its head. Doro turned and cut another slice of meat from the Nerf joint and let the strill take it from his hand, it chewed happily at it. The Door creaked again, Doro turned and saw a Wookiee enter. Doro nodded to the wookiee, they were friends, a odd set of friends really, but a Wookiee Life-Debt is not something you can pass off lightly, Doro liked the the Wookiee's company anyway.
"Charookia.." He address the Wookiee, who growled in return. "Can you believe these people, the 'New Republic Senate' thinking they can easily buy the Mandalorians to join the Republic..."
Doro sighed and picked up his helmet, and turned to walk towards the main door.
"Come on Mirde..." He called softly to the Strill who was already behind him at his heel.
From the rack he grabbed his brown cloak which he swung around his shoulders, attaching it at the neck, and followed up by picking up his pack, and Rifle. Another Mandalorian, Another Mandalorian Day. Doro stepped out into the Late Morning Sun, placing his helmet on as he did so. Behind him Charookia had lifted up her Assault Rifle, and her ammo belt. Doro walked up the slope to the plain, where his garage sat, with his landspeeder resided. He opened the door and climbed in, and brought it out of the garage. He hoped out again to check the house was secure, looked across the bastion into the morning sun, the sun glinting off the Corellian Corvette, which within his Firespray was kept. Doro smiled at the sight below his visor and jumped back into the speeder.
Doro sped across the deserted plain, passing a small pen of Nerfs about 100 yards from the tree line which surrounded his house. Doro drove for around a hour, before coming across the Mandalorian Base on the edge of Keldebe. Doro entered though the outer wall and approached the Commander in charge, of the base while he wasn't there.
"Mandalore." The Commander Saluted
"At Ease." Doro returned the Salute and the trooper relaxed slightly. "I've got a number of things i need establishing another 2 mines here, and that will really be it...I will be back to check on the progress soon."
Doro Saluted the man and turned to walk away, he reached the speeder and climbed in, he was returning back to the house, when he came across a bunch of thugs, who were clearly not Mandalorians, attacking a Mandalorian women, although she was in armor. Doro pulled to a halt, and he jumped out, drawing his DC-18 and checking the charge for the Blaster.
"Leave Her be..."
"What's it to you, Mando?!?"
Doro didn't reply, and brought his rifle up level;
"This."
Doro Fired, a single shot at each, the first few being caught of guard, and being killed instantly, the others thinking it would be best to rush Doro, Doro fired and fired, until each had dropped dead, the smell of scotched flesh rose in the air, he extended his hand and help the women to her feet.
"Are you OK?"
"Yes; thank you."
"No Problem.
Doro turned and climbed back into the speeder, he was about to speed away, when he turned;
"Will you be alright?"
"Yes, i will, thanks again."
Doro turned and gave her a thumbs up before returning to the wheel and driving away. Doro drove back towards his homestead, still fuming about the Republic Senate trying to convince him to Join the Mandalorians to the Republic.
